The Message the Housing Industry Can No Longer Afford to Ignore.

Mitzi Beach is an energetic, knowledgeable and captivating resource to any organization in search of presenters or educators. Mitzi came well-prepared for the 4-hour presentation she offered during the event I organized for a group of well-trained interior designers. Her visuals were strong and her research undeniable. She was able to hold the attention of a room full of professionals who came to fulfill continuing education requirements. These professionals left feeling inspired and prepared, gaining much more than simply credits toward their requirements. I enjoyed working with Mitzi leading up to the event. She was easy to work with and promptly provided me with the materials I needed and answered questions I had. I look forward to future dealings with Mitzi.

There are women who you admire as a professional and you follow for years because you respect them. I have followed Mitzi Beach for over 10 years since the time she spoke at an ASID NJ event on aging in place design. She believes like I do that our homes need to be a safe place and sanctuary no matter what our age is. She recently published a book “Design Smarts” which is a holistic approach to living a healthy lifestyle. Living a healthy lifestyle isn’t only about what we eat, our mental health or our fitness activities after midlife; it’s also our home.

In this Motivational and entertaining presentation, Mitzi sharpened our focus on the key questions needed for addressing the downsizing, decluttering process. I came away with a “can do” attitude and a practical list of reminders.

Mitzi delivered a practical “Top 10” for transitioning the home for both the homeowner as well as their loved ones. at the recent Downsizers Club of Empowering Seniors. She breaks down what could be a daunting task into segments that her listeners can compartmentalize and implement immediately. Mitzi has the unique ability to insert wit and humor into her own personal experiences of rightsizing. She is self-deprecating about the struggle to continually organize, reorganize, and then repeat – which humanizes what many books/talks can only explain through theory. Her sensitivity toward “passion assets” and family heirlooms that hold sentimental value further validates the homeowner’s need to address ultimate disposition of these items today to be able to carry on the family’s legacy. In summary, Mitzi connects with her listeners through her genuine love of people and servant heart.

In 2015, Mitzi Beach was a featured speaker at the Design Bloggers Conference which was attended by 400 of the leading content creators and designers in the Luxury Home Design Industry. Over two days there are approximately 20 featured speakers. Mitzi’s talk focused on creating content as a business tool for success. She was profound in her remarks about her focus on the “boomer” generation. Mitzi’s talk reflected strong preparation, thoughtful flow, and a focus on relevance as it related to the audience. She scored high marks on all the reviews from attendees. Mitzi has participated on a High Point Design Blogger Tour Esteem Media organizes with High Point Market. Her professionalism and dedication to the mission was a cut above the norm. She is highly regarded and respected by the industry and us.
