Finally, it is time for fall decorating! For those of you in parts of the country that do not sweat all summer in high heat or high heat plus humidity, you are fortunate. But those of us who do “shimmer” all summer, we are thrilled to bring in the fall season.
And with the fall season, comes a beautiful array of options to decorate our homes for most everyone’s favorite time of year. I know for myself, this is absolutely my favorite season.
As I was mixing and matching my own collection of items with newly purchased items from the At Home store for fall decorating, I thought this saying was right on target being applicable to smart home decorating. Here is why:
SOMETHING BORROWED
My mums and hydrangeas from our outside areas.
SOMETHING BLUE
Well that was a slam dunk for me! See what I mean?
SOMETHING OLD
My furniture and my wood accessories of chargers, candlesticks, etc.
SOMETHING NEW
My newly purchased items from At Home that blend so perfectly with what I already own and love.
MY NEW are:
See, I told you it was so easy! And remember, a little smart buying goes a long way. Plus, most of these new items can be easily stored and certainly be used for many occasions and many reasons.
And with Thanksgiving around the corner, let me say, that I am most thankful for all of you that read these posts and comment or share them with others.
After all, sharing and caring are the essence of the wonderful fall season leading up to our Thanksgiving of gratefulness of all we have.
